Lina & Kingsley are a lovely couple from Nigeria, who chose Rome the Eternal City, and the beautiful hotel De La Ville to celebrate their wedding with their family and friends.
The religious Ceremony
The Catholic ceremony was held in the Chapel of Choir in the magnificent Saint Peter’s Basilica, that the couple and their guests reached with a private VAN service that picked them up at their hotel and dropped them off in front of the Basilica.
The ceremony was accompanied by an ancient pipe organ and was officiated by the bride’s cousin – a priest living in Rome – and by some of his most trusted colleagues.
The color palette chosen by the couple was delicate and elegant: powder blue, pale pink, and ivory.
After the ceremony, the couple had some photos taken in the Colosseum area, where they enjoyed the warm temperatures of summer and the joyful atmosphere of the city.
For their wedding reception, Lina & Kingsley chose the exclusive 5-star Hotel De La Ville, a lively 18th-century palace overlooking the busy life in the Eternal City. Located on top of one of the most iconic landmarks of Rome – the so called Spanish Steps – this elegant venue is the perfect getaway where intimacy and privacy are always guaranteed.
The sophisticated dinner table was set up in the internal courtyard, where guests were able to chill out and dance until night. 
Before dinner, the married couple changed their dresses, opting for a more casual party attire. 
The wedding cake prepared by an experienced pastry Chef was a traditional Italian one: sponge cake filled with Chantilly cream and wild fruits.
For the party, the couple chose a combination of DJ-set and sax.
